Ubuntu Translators as upstream localization teams

I don’t know how many of you are aware that Ubuntu Translation Team are not only downstream localization teams working downstream for Ubuntu, but also upstream translation teams for a quite large number of other projects.
The list of projects can be found here on the Launchpad Translations page of Ubuntu Translators Group. Please note that due to this bug not all projects listed there are coordinated by Ubuntu Translators Group.
For those projects, member of the Ubuntu Translators team are the only persons who could check, approve and do localization QA tasks.
I know that many of you are focused on the Ubuntu main packages and also is not easy to check all those project to see if there are new translations to be reviewed.

It is updated once a day. Hope you will find it useful.
Any comments are suggestions are welcomed!
The code is here. I know is of not much use, but anyway. It will create some static HTML files after parsing Rosetta pages.

I’m a little confused.
https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/+groups/ubuntu-translators
lists vlc but the vlc launchpad listing doesn’t list it using launchpad translations. Can you explain why vlc shows up on that page? Same with londonlaw, tinyerp, nedit,nmap…
How is that list of projects generated? Perhaps there is a script misfiring and its pulling the wrong project ids?
And then there is grass..which has translations open in lp.. but the upstream project’s work flow explicitly states that they are not using rosetta yet so its not clear whether that should be counted or not.

Okay, so according to the bug report you filed you found 82 misidentified projects being list . https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/+groups/ubuntu-translators
Am I reading the report correctly? Isn’t like more than half of the projects listed there?
Can you produce a corrected list of projects that the Ubuntu translation group is the upstream translators for?
You probably should refrain from advertising that groups page until the reporting is significantly more accurate. While I’m sure it wasn’t intentional to double the number of listed projects in order to make it look like there were significantly more projects being worked on, such an oversight certainly does not help support the argument you are attempting to make.
Please provide an updated accurate summary in a new blog post
