Free software terminology translations

I am pleased to announce a set of words/terms that could be used as a common terminology for translation teams.
It is based on the terminology files used by Romanian translations teams, which was started (around 2005) from the GNOME glossary file. In the last year the Romanian translations teams have successfully used a common terminology translations to improve translations quality and consistency. The Romanian terminology is stored in a non standard format (tab separated plain text file) and a php and ajax search and edit interface. I have converted it to PO format as it is common standard used in free software.
To make the distinction between verbs and nouns, instead of using contexts, I used the infinitive form for verbs.
They are sorted in alphabetical order, but where it make sense I tried to group them (ex accuracy and precision).
Comments and links were added to help translators understand the usage of some terms. Some terms need more comments/links.
I tried not to create an English dictionary, but only include terms relevant to IT domain. There are some exception and I am happy to discuss the removal or addition of terms.
The PO file is hosted and updated here https://code.launchpad.net/~translation-standards-devel/translation-standards/terminology and it can be translated using Launchpad Translations.
Right now you can use the search function to retrieve e specific term, but we are looking forward for a better integration with Launchpad Translations (LP Bug #501086).
It is released under BSD license. Feel free to download and translate it and integrate in your favorite tools.
